Oklahoma City fire crews say one person is dead after a fire in a camper.

Around 12:20 a.m. Thursday morning, OKCFD crews were called to a fire in the 1000 block of SE 26th St. Arriving crews say the 20-foot bumper-pull travel trailer was fully involved.

Once crews got the fire under control, they discovered a body inside the trailer. At this time, they have not been able to determine the age or gender of the deceased.

Fire officials and the Oklahoma City Police Department Homicide Unit are jointly investigating the fire. The Homicide Unit assists with all fire fatality investigations.

OKCFD says this is the city's 12th fire fatality of 2018.
