TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — A bill naming Oklahoma a Second Amendment sanctuary state is headed to Governor Kevin Stitt's desk.
Senate Bill 631, the Second Amendment Sanctuary Act, would prevent the confiscation or surrender of firearms, gun accessories, or ammunition from law-abiding Oklahomans, protecting the right to keep and bear arms guaranteed by the United States Constitution.
The bill's author says it's important based on recent action from the federal government.
