Oologah child abuse case: OSBI arrests two suspects following investigation

On Sept. 13, the Oologah Police Department requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation investigative assistance with a child abuse case.

Earlier that day, Owasso and Oologah Police Officers responded to a local hospital, where medical personnel were concerned about the well-being of a child.

OSBI Child Abuse Response Team Agents, as well as Crime Scene Agents, collected evidence from the scene and conducted additional interviews.

Based on the information gathered during the investigation, 25-year-old Cameron Gough and 26-year-old Maria Wilson were arrested on felony child abuse charges.

Both were booked into the Rogers County Jail.

The OSBI would Like to thank the Oologah Police Department, Owasso Police Department, Owasso Fire Department, Rogers County Sheriff's Office, Rogers County District Attorney's Office, and all medical staff who helped provide care for the child.
