TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — NewsChannel 8's Sports Director TJ Eckert has confirmed multiple reports that Oral Roberts University's head basketball coach, Paul Mills, will take the head coaching position at Wichita State University.

Mills was named head coach for ORU basketball in April 2017 after 14 years on staff at Baylor.

He served as the team's 11th head coach in program history.

In the last three seasons, Mills has led the Golden Eagles to two NCAA Tournaments.

Mills finished this season with a 30-5 record.
