TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — The University of Oklahoma Physicians in Tulsa will hold a kneeling ceremony on Tuesday to honor the life of George Floyd.
Staff, faculty and guests will gather at the Wayman Tisdale Clinic near 36th Street North and M.L.K. Jr. Boulevard.
The ceremony will not only be to honor Floyd's life, but also show support for Black Lives Matter.
Everyone will meet at 12:45 p.m. and kneel in silence for eight minutes and 46 seconds, the exact time the Minneapolis officer kneeled on Floyd's neck, killing him.
