Hostage situation ends in apparent murder-suicide in Pawnee County

UPDATE: The Pawnee County Sheriff's Office has identified the suspect and victim of Thursday night's apparent murder suicide.

Deputies identified the murder suspect as Jim Two-Feathers and the victim, Kendra Dvorak.

Officers said both the suspect and the victim were found dead in the home.

Pawnee County deputies are waiting to hear the cause of death and more information from the Medical Examiner's Office.

Kendra Dvorak from the Pawnee area - victim - deceased

UPDATE: Deputies say the situation ended in an apparent murder-suicide.

Both the victim and suspect were found dead inside the home.

No one else was injured or found on the property.

UPDATE: The Oklahoma Tactical Team and deputies with the Pawnee County Sheriff's Office said there were no children in the home, but that the suspect and victim are still barricaded inside.

Deputies confirmed that the suspect is the victim's ex-boyfriend.

A warrant has been obtained and OHP teams are putting a plan together to breach a door and make entry into the home.

This is still an active scene.

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) Pawnee County Sheriff deputies said they're on scene of a possible hostage situation near Highway 18 and 5000 Road.

Deputies received a call around 6:30 Thursday evening from a woman saying that her mother's ex-boyfriend was at the house with a gun.

At the time of the call, the woman said a gun was being held to her mother's head.

The caller also believed there were possibly two children in the home.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol Tactical Team is on scene helping sheriff deputies respond to the active situation.
