Police investigate armed robbery at local pharmacies


TULSA-- TPD released surveillance photos of the suspect who robbed a CVS pharmacy and believe he may have robbed a Walgreen's hours earlier.


TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at two local pharmacies in Tulsa.

Police were dispatched to the CVS at 7041 S. Yale, around 10:00 p.m. Saturday. Officials believe this armed robbery is also connected to another robbery that occurred at the Walgreen's on 15th and Lewis just before 8:30 p.m.

Officers say a suspect approached the pharmacy and handed over a note demanding pills.

The suspect kept one hand in his jacket as if he was armed. The employee handed over several pills and the suspect left the store walking north through the parking lot.

Police are looking for a white male in his 20's with a clean cut and he was last seen wearing a heavy blue or gray jacket with a dark hoodie underneath.
