TPD: Woman shoots ex-boyfriend who forced his way into her home

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Tulsa police are investigating a shooting at a house near 15th Street and 129th East Avenue early Wednesday morning.

The homeowner told officers her ex-boyfriend knocked on her front door. When she opened it, he pushed his way inside her house.

The woman told police he physically assaulted her, so she grabbed her pistol and shot him.

When officers arrived on scene around 5:15 a.m., they found the man inside the home with a gunshot wound to his upper chest.

He was conscious and responsive when medics took him to the hospital. EMSA said he was transported in emergent condition.
