Police investigating a body found in south Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — The Tulsa Police Department is investigating a body found in south Tulsa near 121st and Riverside in the Arkansas River.

Officers were called to the location after teenagers reported the finding while they were off-roading in their Jeep Wednesday afternoon.

Police say a white male was found face down in the water. The Tulsa Fire Department removed the body from the water, and investigators say they do not believe it was foul play.

The identity of the body is unknown at this time.
