Police: Masked man pulls gun, robs south Tulsa bank
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Police are investigating a bank robbery in south Tulsa.
Officers responded around 10:30 a.m. to Arvest Bank near 91st and Delaware after a man walked in, pulled out a pistol and demanded money from a teller. Police say the teller emptied two drawers of money into a pink canvas bag and the suspect left the store without hurting anyone.
The suspect left the bank westbound toward Riverside where police think he may have had a waiting vehicle. The robbery was caught on security cameras at the bank and police have released several pictures of the suspect.
Police say the suspect is a black male who is possibly heavy-set, around 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black mask and a gray hoodie with a plaid vest and armed with a black handgun.
