TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) -- A man was arrested Tuesday for a sexual assault on the University of Tulsa's campus, and police say he's being investigated in connection with other assaults.

Officers responded to the campus Tuesday where a female victim reported being sexually assaulted. TU Campus Security located the suspect, 18-year-old Zach Ryan Martin.

Police say Martin was taken for an interview at which time he confessed to sexual battery. Martin was booked into jail on $2,000 bond.

According to a TU spokesperson, both Martin and victim are students at the university. Martin has since been dismissed.

TU released the following statement upon the arrest, indicating a second student may have been assaulted Tuesday:

University of Tulsa Campus Security has received a report of two students who were sexually assaulted by another student on campus early this morning. Officers from TU and Tulsa Police Department were summoned to investigate the case. The suspect was arrested and has been dismissed by the university.
Our top priority is the health and safety of students, faculty and staff. University administrators will continue to push for increased education and awareness on this issue.
Students who experience sexual violence are encouraged to report the incident as soon as possible to appropriate university officials such as Campus Security, Housing or Student Services staff, a faculty member or Counseling and Psychological Services staff. Information on resources is available at https://utulsa.edu/campus-life/student-affairs/sexual-violence-prevention-education/getting-care/

Police say Martin is a possible suspect in two sexual assaults previously reported on the TU campus.
