TULSA, Okla., (KTUL) -- Police are working a series of shootings in Tulsa possibly all orchestrated by a dangerous 21-year-old woman.
But police admit it’s still unclear why the woman is pulling the trigger.
“She’s just on a crime spree in Tulsa is what it appears," said officer Jeanne MacKenzie.
While her motivation remains a mystery 21-year-old Madison Dickson’s violent resume continues to grow.
“I think a lot of people will look at her and think that she’s not dangerous," said MacKenzie.
MacKenzie and TPD officers are trying to connect Dickson to a crash that happened last night around 8 p.m. near 18th Street and Peoria.
When officers responded to the crash they found the driver shot in his head, right before his car ran out of control.
Why he was shot, where he was shot and if he knows Dickson is unclear.
“He gave the officers on scene some information, that’s why she’s a possible suspect," said MacKenzie.
Her spree began Saturday when police say Dickson was stealing from a Best Buy off East 71st Street when her gun went off.
She followed that up by allegedly shooting a woman in the arm at a Walgreen's off South Lewis and 71st Street on Sunday.
“We have several victims with gunshot wounds, at least two that have been shot by this person," said MacKenzie.
In 2015 Dickson led authorities on a 6-hour manhunt after she took off with an Osage County deputy’s cruiser.
She was later arrested.
“We don’t want you to approach her, we don’t want you to talk to her, we want you to just call 911 and tell us where she is," said MacKenzie.
After last night’s incident police are just hoping the man shot may be able to provide some clues into how far Dickson is willing to go.
The man shot last night we’re told tonight is doing fine and is expected to be okay.
