Pregnant teen survives shooting, suspect still at large

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — On Monday, September 18, around 6:40 p.m. officers responded to 1500 North MLK Jr. Boulevard to investigate a reported shooting.

Officers say the suspect fired multiple rounds into another vehicle, striking a female once in the stomach.

The female is 19 years old and is pregnant. She was rushed into surgery at a local hospital, and both mom and baby are in stable condition.

Another child and male were inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting, no one else was hit.

Detectives processed the scene and the location is opened back up at this time.

The suspect is unknown at this time, police say.
