TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) -- A Tulsa-based BBQ joint raised $100,000 to give out to five Tulsa charities from its annual golf tournament.

Rib Crib BBQ and Grill handed out the check Thursday at its headquarters in Tulsa. The restaurant raised the money through its annual Pitmasters Golf Tournament, which brought in more than 140 golfers this summer.

Rib Crib dispersed the money between these five non-profits:

  • The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma
  • The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis
  • The Oklahoma Animal Care Foundation
  • The Tulsa Zoo
  • 12&12

“We are proud and grateful for everyone’s contributions," said Bret Chandler, founder of Rib Crib, in a press release. "We are honored to be able to give back to our community in this way.”
