Following severe storms and a tornado sweeping through the area Friday night, Idabel's polling place for Precinct 450008 has been moved after the storm rendered the original polling place unusable.

According to the Oklahoma State Election Board, the Trinity Baptist Church was supposed to serve as a polling place on Nov. 8, but after the building was all but leveled by the storms, different plans had to be made.

McCurtain County Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax authorized a temporary relocation of the polling place for Precinct 450008 to be moved from Trinity Baptist Church to Calvary Missionary Baptist Church at 200 Calvary Lane in Idabel, Okla.

Ziriax will post a notice of relocation at the former polling place.
