Six Flags Hurricane Harbor OKC opening for 2023 Summer Season on May 27

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Six Flags Hurricane Harbor OKC, Oklahoma's largest water park, is opening for the 2023 summer season this Saturday.

On May 27, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor OKC will debut new park enhancements and dining options, providing new experiences for guests. The enhancements include updated facilities and new food menu items.

"For over 40 years, Hurricane Harbor has been Oklahoma’s favorite water park," said General Manager, David Riddles. "Each year there is something new for guests to enjoy and this year, the upgrades are splashtastic! We're welcoming guests with all-new dining choices, revamped Gilligan's Gally Bar to become a full-service bar and noticeable park beautification elements."

The improvements to Hurricane Harbor OKC include:

• New Culinary Creations - Fuel water-filled days with all-new loaded hot dogs or fries. Corn dogs also now come in "extreme size." Guests can also quench their thirst with freshly squeezed lemonade or use the self-service Slushie Station.
• Upscale Guest Amenities - Unwind and lounge in luxury with private cabanas and leisure areas. Relax in comfort with custom seating, curtains, and fans while overlooking Hurricane Bay.
• Park Enhancements - A remodeled and upgraded Gilligan's Gally Bar, joined by the water park's first full-service bar offering a wide wave of refreshments including frozen cocktails, brews and hand-crafted drinks.
