TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) – StudioHop is an all-in-one fitness membership allowing people access to several boutique gyms in the Tulsa area.
Instead of having to commit to one kind of workout, members can get a monthly membership to any of the participating studios.
Ayngel McNall, studio manager at SALT Yoga in Utica Square, is excited for the new clients.
“I think it will draw people that normally work out a different way but they want to try yoga or they will be inspired to just pop in and try a class,” she said.
After signing up, members can access a class schedule for all the participating gyms and can sign up for any classes.
Emily Wilson, owner of REVVED Fitness in Brookside, said she likes her clients working out in different ways.
“I have always believed in cross training and doing multiple things at one time,” she said. “For me, I love my clients to do yoga. I love my clients to do Pilates and barre and do different things, not just stay in one facility.”
There are no blackout times and members have full access to all partnering boutique studios’ classes.
Joy Jones-Washington, studio manager at Physiques by Monique, said boutique studios give members the workout they want.
“The need for boutique studios has really become popular,” she said. “When you go to a boutique studio you’re getting the best of the best. You’re getting high quality and you’re getting an experience.”
There is also a StudioHop app members can download to access class schedules.
StudioHop is also available in Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Austin and Oklahoma City.
“This is something that Tulsa needs,” said Jones-Washington. “This will open the doors to new clients, current clients and just really expand on what Tulsa offers.”
Pricing varies.
