The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in getting more information about the events that led to the death of 20-year-old Gerasia Thompson.

She was fatally injured when her boyfriend claims she fell from his vehicle near Chandler Park in the early morning hours of June 15.

He says after she fell, he placed Thompson in his Tahoe and drove to his home before driving her to the hospital. While on the way, he says he ran out of gas on the Eastbound Broken Arrow Expressway just before the Utica exit, where a man stopped to offer assistance.

Detectives would like to identify and speak with that witness.

Thompson died the next day due to her injuries.

Detectives would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the couple or this vehicle, between the time they left the Warehouse Bar and Grill around 1:45 a.m. to the time he took Thompson to St. John Medical Center at 3:10 a.m.

TCSO's timeline for the events of June 15:

  • 1st location, Warehouse Bar and Grill at 33rd and Peoria, where the couple left at approximately 1:45 am
  • 2nd Location, Avery Drive near Chandler Park where Thompson was injured
  • 3rd Location, the area of the boyfriends home near Apache and Lewis
  • 4th Location, Eastbound Broken Arrow Expressway at the Utica Exit, where the boyfriend’s vehicle ran out of gas on the way to the hospital
  • 5th location, The boyfriend dropped Thompson off at St. John at 3:10 am
