TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Tulsa police say a one-year-old was hit by a bullet inside an apartment near North Peoria and Highway 75 Saturday night.
Officers say around 10 or 11 p.m., someone in an apartment complex was taking pictures while playing around with a gun and they accidentally fired the weapon.
The bullet went through the wall of the apartment and into the next unit, hitting a one-year-old.
The baby was hit in the lower abdomen, but is expected to be OK.
The person who fired the gun is facing a charge of reckless endangerment with a gun.
The gun owner did have a permit.
