TPD searching for teen after shooting in north Tulsa

Police are investigating a shooting in north Tulsa.

Officers were called to the Edenwood Apartments near North Hartford Ave and East Woodrow Place shortly at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say a 24-year-old man was shot while he was walking near the basketball court in the complex when he came in contact with a 16-year-old black male.

Police say the two knew each other and got into a verbal altercation.

The 16-year-old pulled out a gun and fired shots and the victim.

The victim was hit by the gunfire multiple times in his legs, groin, abdomen, and chest.

He was transported to a hospital and is in critical condition.

Police say the suspect has a short-afro and he was last seen wearing a plain white T-shirt and blue athletic shorts.
