Tulsa police arrested a man on Thursday for child prostitution at a motel near I-44 and the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Officers say Phillip Hood arrived at the motel around 7 p.m. under the assumption that he was meeting a 14-year-old girl for sex in exchange for money.

Hood was told multiple times through email over a 10-day period that he was coming to meet a 14-year-old girl.

The emails, which he believed were being sent by the girl, repeatedly said that she would have sex with him if he paid her money.

Hood arrived to the motel with the money and a condom in his pocket.

He was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail for prostitution with a child under 16, using a computer to violate the Oklahoma statute and soliciting sex with a minor using technology.
