TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Transformation Church near 101st and Memorial is celebrating it's grand opening and church anniversary this weekend.
The church started the celebration with a ribbon cutting on Saturday with the Bixby Metro Chamber of Commerce.
"The reason we wanted to do this, and open this building God gave us is because I want you to know there are things in your life God wants you to open. There's dreams he's giving you that God wants you to cut the ribbon on," said Pastor Michael Todd.
Transformation church took over the former Spirit Bank Event Center six months ago to serve more than 3,500 people every week.
Church leaders say it's been an honor serving the Tulsa community for the last 21 years and they are excited about this new chapter.
The church will have two services on Sunday, one at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
