TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Tulsa police are investigating what they say is a "possible homicide" after a woman was found dead on the front porch of a house in Turley.
Officers say a neighbor called 911 around 7:45 a.m. reporting someone down on the porch.
Tulsa firefighters arrived, found the woman, and determined she had probably been there for a few hours before the call.
Police believe it's a homicide because blood was found at the scene and there was trauma to the body, but they are hesitant to call it a homicide.
The family was asleep inside at the time and were completely unaware she was on the porch until police woke them up, investigators say.
This is a developing story.
