TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) – Police say a woman shot at her boyfriend Tuesday during a domestic dispute.
Police say the man, Edward Earl Davis, had a knife, and they’re viewing this as an act of self-defense.
Police said the woman reported that Davis had been threatening her via text messages for several days before he reportedly confronted her Tuesday afternoon in the courtyard of Sierra Pointe Apartments on South 107th East Avenue.
She’s also filed 11 reports of domestic violence involving Davis over the last year, according to police.
The woman reported that Davis rode up on a bicycle, threatened her and was holding a knife. She reportedly fired several rounds in his direction, and police aren’t positive whether Davis was injured.
Davis got back on the bicycle and rode away after the woman shot at him, police said.
A report was taken for investigation into domestic violence with assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
