Tulsa Public Schools release adjustments to school calendar following walkout
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Tulsa Public Schools released the following updates to both the school calendar and state assessment dates to adjust for time lost during the teacher walkout.
- Pending approval by the Tulsa Board of Education who will meet Monday night at 6:30 p.m., the last day of school for the 2017-2018 school year will be Thursday, May 31.
- No changes to made to the length of the school day.
- The window for completion of state assessments will run from Wednesday, April 18 to Friday, April 27 for students taking the paper version; from Wednesday, April 18 to Friday, May 4 for students taking the web-based version.

Tulsa Public Schools need 500 to 600 volunteer test proctors to assist with administration of the state assessment.
