Mother of child in 'critical condition' facing child neglect charges in Cleveland County

CLEVELAND COUNTY (KOKH) — A woman is facing several child neglect charges in Cleveland County.

The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office said investigators were called to Norman Regional Hospital around 7 p.m. Tuesday for a child neglect case.

Investigators said they saw a 2-month-old boy who was "extremely underweight, dehydrated, and in critical condition."

The child's mother, Victoria Bolton, was arrested and booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center.

The sheriff's office said more information will be provided as the case unfolds.
