TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) -- Tulsa police have released dash camera video of a pursuit and officer-involved shooting from earlier in the week.
Sergeant Stephen Stoltz shot and killed 43-year-old Russell Rosser Wednesday after a chase through north Tulsa. Police say an officer initiated a traffic stop on a Dodge pickup truck near Independence and Louisville, but the truck fled the scene.
Before the chase ended, police say the truck rammed two patrol cars and was in the process of trying to hit another officer when Stoltz opened fire, killing Rosser.
A second suspect fled the truck on foot and has not been located or identified.
Police have released some but not all of the dash camera video. They say they expect to have all video released by next week.
The incident will be turned over to the district attorney's office upon completion of the investigation.
Stoltz is on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
