OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — There were more violent crimes in Oklahoma, including murder, rape and aggravated robbery in 2015 than in 2014, with murders up 35.4 percent according to data from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
The murder rate was the highest in Oklahoma in at least 10 years.
The only violent crime measure that saw a decrease was robbery, down 2.2 percent from 2014.
Non-violent crime saw a decrease of 3.8 percent.
Attacks on law enforcement also saw a decline.
