Woman hospitalized after boat fire at Serenity Point Marina

JAY, Okla. (KTUL) — Two people are in the hospital after a boat caught fire at Serenity Point Marina at Grand Lake Friday evening.

According to the Grad River Dam Authority, the boat caught fire when it was being filled up with gasoline.

When crews arrived on scene the boat was fully engulfed. They were able to get everyone off the boat.

Officials said two people were injured and transported to an area hospital. One of them suffered significant burns to her hands.
