Worker taken to hospital after falling at downtown construction site
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
A man was taken away in an ambulance Monday morning after an accident at a construction site in downtown Tulsa.
Crews responded around 9:15 a.m. to the Boston building near 4th and Boston. The Fire Department says the construction worker fell from some scaffolding on the 13th floor.
Emergency crews originally thought the man fell 40-feet but later determined it was about 25-feet.
Firefighters say the man, who was not wearing any safety gear, landed on his back and suffered a head injury.
He was unresponsive when medics arrived.
