TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) -- Oklahoma's education crisis is the biggest problem this state has faced in decades. We made international headlines earlier this year when teachers walked out of their classrooms and headed straight to the Capitol, calling for pay raises and the restoration of education funding. Lawmakers passed a funding package, but there's talk it could be repealed before students even return to the classroom in the fall.

We're digging deeper into the issues surrounding our schools in this roundtable. Topics of discussion include: What happens if HB1010X is repealed? Who should pay for teacher pay raises and education funding? Will another walkout happen in August? Did teachers get what they deserve during the walkout.

Panelists
Dr. Janet Dunlop, superintendent of Broken Arrow Public Schools
Terry Heustis, superintendent of Westville Public Schools
Larry Cagle, teacher at Edison High School
Ronda Vuillemont-Smith, Oklahoma Taxpayers Unite
Gene Perry, strategy and communications director at Oklahoma Policy Institute

Moderator
Mark Bradshaw, evening anchor at Tulsa's Channel 8
