MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (WJLA) — Emergency crews had a touchy situation at the scene of a highway crash.
The person involved was not hurt in the crash, but ended up in the hospital anyway.
The original victim had been injured in the crash on Interstate 270 in Maryland, near Washington, D.C., Friday morning.
Then, according to Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service, crews came across an unattended vehicle, and the alleged driver of that vehicle
disrobed, dropped all his clothes in the middle of the road.
Chief spokesperson Pete Piringer said the nude man tried to get into several vehicles. Imagine those people's shock.
After that, he came across a fire truck and he
jumped onto the truck," Piringer told WJLA. "They slowed down. ... The doors were locked, of course.
He added, the "young man" was "secured" and taken to a hospital for evaluation for "excited delirium."
