A mother was arrested after hitting an officer directing traffic outside her child's school, according to an arrest report.

The incident happened just after 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 30 outside the IDEA Charter School off Walzem Road on the northeast side of San Antonio.

The arrest affidavit says Susan Rodriguez, 32, assaulted an officer after she was ordered to get back in line with her car and follow normal traffic. She told the officer, "I don't have time for this. I'm late for work," according to the affidavit.

That's when she turned her wheel in the direction of the deputy and struck him with her vehicle. He was able to chase her down and arrest her.

The report says she heard the impact but didn't stop. There is a body cam video as well.
