New York: "Lambscaping" at St. Patrick's Cathedral

New York: "Lambscaping" at St. Patrick's Cathedral (WCBS/CNN)

These three sheep are newly arrived to the Basilica of Saint Patrick's old cathedral.

They came from Buckwheat Bridge farm upstate in Elizaville.

Their job is, pun intended "lambscaping."

That means they help maintain the grounds by eating grass and fertilizing it.

The sheep are still getting used to city noises and getting gawked at by New Yorkers.

They are on loan for the month of September only.
