Cowboys, Sooners announce 2019 football schedules

The 2018 college football season is in full swing, but we are getting a look at what the schedules hold next year for the Sooners and Cowboys.

The Cowboys open the season Aug. 30 in Corvalis, taking on Oregon State. It will be the furthest they have traveled for a home opener since facing Washington State in 2008.

The Cowboys then open at home against McNeese State before heading up the road to Tulsa for a Sept. 14 match-up. The Big 12 slate opens Sept. 21 at Texas for the Pokes.

Baylor comes to Stillwater Oct. 19 for Oklahoma State's homecoming. For the 2019 season, Bedlam returns to the final game of the year as the Sooners travel to Stillwater for a Nov. 30 clash.

OU opens their 2019 campaign with a revenge game Aug. 31 at home against Houston. The last time the two met, Houston defeated the fifth ranked Sooners 33-23. South Dakota makes the trip to Norman Sept. 7 for the first meeting between the two teams.

The Sooners are on the road Sept. 14 at UCLA before opening the conference slate Sept. 28 against Texas Tech. The Red River Showdown is set for Oct. 12 followed by a home game Oct. 19 against West Virginia.

The Sooners finish the season Nov. 30 in Stillwater.
