Former Sooner Hield traded to Sacramento in blockbuster deal

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of "The Vertical," former Sooner guard Buddy Hield, who's in his rookie season with the New Orleans Pelicans, is part of a multi-player trade which will land him in Sacramento. From a national perspective, the bigger part of this trade is how Kings' franchise big man DeMarcus Cousins will join superstar center Anthony Davis in New Orleans.

The Sacramento Kings will receive Hield, Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway, Omri Casspi, and a future first and second round draft pick in exchange for Cousins. For Hield, the former sixth overall draft pick, he'll join the franchise which also drafted Sooner teammate Isaiah Cousins in that same year.

However, Cousins is currently playing for the Reno Bighorns, the Developmental League affiliate of the Kings.
