The top-ranked Union Redskins advanced to the Class 6A-1 State Championship game, defeating No. 4 Broken Arrow 21-0 at H.A. Chapman Stadium.

On a windy Saturday morning, the Redskins leaned on the running game - and Darius Boone Jr. was happy to carry the load. The junior rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns, the only two offensive touchdowns scored by Union all game.

The other side of the ball was dominant for the Redskins, as Broken Arrow was only able to amass 179 yards of offense. Add to that four forced turnovers by the Union defense, and the Tigers were in serious trouble.

Now, the Redskins will look to win their second-straight State Championship the first weekend of December. They will face the winner of the other 6A-1 semi-final between Owasso and Jenks.
