Felix Jones Back in Town to Help with North Mabee Football Camp

It's always football season in Oklahoma.

Today was the 23rd annual North Mabee Boys and Girls Club Football Camp. And former Booker T. Washington, Arkansas and Dallas Cowboy tailback Felix Jones was back in town to help out.

"I'm just happy that I'm able to come back and be a part of what these young men are trying to do,” Jones said. “And that's to mold these young men into civilized citizens."

And for the former T-Town tailback, he just wants to be a role model to these kids.

"I just try to do what I feel these young men need,” Jones says. “And that’s somebody here they can touch, talk to, or see how it's done, or tell them their dreams and tell them it's possible."

And for every young kid out there trying to make it big like him?

"Never give up. I mean it's cliché, but it's the best advice you can give somebody. And continue to work hard. Continue to work at your craft, because you never know when your time is called. If you work hard, and continue to follow your dreams, it's in reach."
