Oklahoma State will honor Barry Sanders and the "War Pigs" with 1988 throwback uniforms for their homecoming clash against Texas.

The move honors Sanders' 1988 Heisman-winning season in which he broke 34 NCAA records. The jerseys have a special patch commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Cowboys 10-2 season. The team will wear a white helmet with a throwback OSU logo and the throwback jersey.

Sanders and the War Pigs are the grand marshals of the Oklahoma State Homecoming celebration.

The Cowboys face off against Texas Saturday at 7 p.m. on ABC.
