NORMAN, Okla. (KOKH) - Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray has declared for the 2019 NFL Draft.

He made the announcement in a tweet on Monday Jan. 14.

The 5-foot-11 Murray led Oklahoma to a College Football Playoff berth and won the school its seventh Heisman Trophy in 2018.

Murray was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 2018 MLB Draft. He was the No. 9 overall pick and came to an agreement with the A's to play one more season of college football.

Murray dazzled in his one season at Oklahoma as the team's starter, but it is unclear if Murray will try to play both professional football and baseball.

The 2019 NFL Draft begins on April 25.
