Oklahoma football announced its 2019 spring game is scheduled for April 13.

The Sooners' official Twitter account said a kickoff time and other details will be announced at a later date.

The game, which is annually played at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, will feature an Oklahoma team coming off two-consecutive College Football Playoff appearances.

It will also be the second-consecutive year the Sooners have a quarterback battle during spring practices.

Oklahoma will be breaking in new defensive coordinator Alex Grinch as well this spring.

Oklahoma's 2019 regular-season opener is scheduled for Aug. 31 vs. Houston in Norman.
