A strong cold front heading into Oklahoma Friday night has already dumped several inches of snow across much of South Dakota.

Snow accumulated on roads in Rapid City where cars slid off roads on I-90 Thursday night and delayed schools Friday morning.

The front is bringing winter-like weather to Green Country overnight with below freezing temperatures and the possibility of a mix of wintry precipitation. But it won't last long. We'll be in the 40s by Saturday afternoon and 50s by Sunday.
