Oklahoma wasn't the only place to get April snow in the last few days. Several inches of heavy snow fell during a snowstorm in Macomb, Illinois on Sunday.

While temperatures stayed in the lower 30s, officials worked to clear Western Illinois University's football field of all snow and ice before practice Monday.

Crews were forced to manually clear it due to weeks of persistent cold temperatures leading to frozen ground with no opportunity for melting.
