(KTUL) -- The fourth big snowstorm in recent weeks is bearing down on the northeast.

Heavy snow is causing big headaches as far south as North Carolina all the way north to New York and New Jersey.

Anywhere from 8 to 12 inches of heavy wet snow are expected with sustained winds around 20 to 25 mph. Wind gusts are expected to top 40 mph.

Spring is here but this nor'easter is likely to give the New York and Philadelphia metros more snow than they've seen all winter.
